The Unseelie are throwing out all the stops as this slightly spooky (not too scary, we promise!) event will have Alaric and the players hands full of undead minions bent on havoc! If you love Halloween, you’ll love this event. Play Trick or Treat with the fae (well with the fae you know it’s mostly trick.)

The Portals are opening to the Mystic Vale, and Guardian Alaric and the Seelie Court welcome you to the first official Portals of the Fae LARP! Here is what you need to know:
Buy a ticket online $20, or $25 cash or Venmo at the door.
Make sure you read the Rulebook before coming!
Check-in will begin at 3:15. Bring your character sheet, wear your costume (and armor if you have some)
Your character background and name will have to be approved for first event
Everyone will be starting at Level 1
Boffer weapons will be inspected for safety, and waiver must be signed for LARP combat
About 4:15 we will move to the field, there will be two separate groups for combat based on temperature
We please ask that you do not consume alcohol until after the Combat Phase
Social Phase begins approximately 6pm and goes until 9pm (read the social skills in the book!)
The Portals of the Fae is a new ongoing LARP experience at Fae Nectar that will be hosting monthly events at our Fantasy Tavern. Their first event, THE GATHERING OF THE FAE will feature costumed characters, fantasy vendors, an introduction to the world of LARP (Live Action Role Playing), and the story and setting of this new campaign. You’ll see demonstrations of Fantasy Combat, hear more about the world of the Mystic Vale, and learn how the game is played! Come in character or just bring your curiosity, and journey into the portal at Fae Nectar!
The Portals of the Fae will be an ongoing LARP campaign with persistent storylines, character progress, and special events such as Masquerade Balls! This event is free, family-friendly, and open to all ages, however the ongoing campaign will be for players 18+

In the hidden corners of the world, where the shadows whisper and the wind carries secrets, there exists a realm shrouded in enchantment—the realm of faerie. Governed by arcane laws and the capricious whims of its inhabitants, this world remains veiled from the human eye, accessible only through portals that open during the celestial alignments of the planets.
About once every moon, the celestial bodies align and the portals open to the fae realm. At that time, those blessed by the magic of the forest can enter the Mystic Vale for the Grand Gathering.
